St. John’s Names New Chief Medical Officer

St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Names Dr. Donald Morrish Chief Medical Officer
FAR ROCKAWAY, Effective July 1, 2018, Dr. Donald Morrish, who is currently the hospital’s Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology, will succeed Dr. Raymond Pastore in his role as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Pastore will continue in his role as Chief of Hematology. Dr. Pastore has served as the Chief Medical Officer of St. John’s since April of 2001.
Dr. Morrish is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his Masters of Medical Management from the University of Southern California, a Doctorate of Medicine from St George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the New York Medical College, Sisters of Charity Medical Center.

It is also a privilege to have Dr. Morrish, someone who is able to step into the role to continue the great work that has been started and lead the medical staff into the future.”
The staff at St. John’s would like to thank Dr. Pastore for his many years of service, as well as congratulate Dr. Morrish in his new role as Chief Medical Officer.
