Episcopal Health Services Welcomes Obstetrician-Gynecologist Steven Ravins, MD

Dr. Steven Ravins, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, has joined Episcopal Health Services.

Far Rockaway, New York, November 12, 2025 — Episcopal Health Services (EHS) is pleased to announce Steven Ravins, MD, an obstetrician-gynecologist with more than 25 years experience, has joined its team, further advancing the health system’s commitment to women’s health.

Dr. Ravins has practiced in Queens for more than two decades through his private practice, Claudia and Steven Ravins MDPC. He previously served as director of outpatient services and assistant director in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Forest Hills Hospital.

“Dr. Ravins is a distinguished physician whose expertise will have a lasting impact on women’s health across our communities,” said Donald T. Morrish, MD, MMM, Chief Executive Officer of EHS. “His extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology will further enrich the exceptional care our team provides to the Rockaways, Five Towns, and beyond.”

Dr. Ravins completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at New York University Downtown Hospital, preceded by residency training in general surgery and anesthesia at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn. His research has been published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
