Mohammad Anwar, MD

Dr. Mohammad Anwar is board certified internal medicine, is a primary care physician and is Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. His areas of focus include adult medicine, inpatient and outpatient care, diagnosis and prognosis, preventive medicine and treatment plan development. He is passionate about setting patient care standards so that each and every patient receives the best possible care and health outcomes.

He received his MD from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Bangladesh. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and was Former Chief Resident at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate.
