Saira Shahab, MD
Dr. Saira Shahab is double board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine. Her areas of focus include bone and joint infections, Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, Pneumonia, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and complicated skin and urinary infections. She is known for her extensive experience in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of complex infectious conditions. She is committed to person-centered care, evidence-based practice and improving community health through education and prevention.
She received her MD from Dow Medical College. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital and her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She is also fluent in English and Hindi.
