Dr. Shahrzad Anita Akhavan is board certified in internal medicine and is a primary care physician. She received her MD from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at NYCH+H Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
