Sheldon Genack, MD

Dr. Sheldon Genack is the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Episcopal Health Services. He is double board certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His areas of focus include facial plastic & reconstructive surgery, as well as head & neck surgery. He also treats otolaryngology (ENT) diseases affecting the ears, nose, sinuses and throat. He is known for providing patients with compassionate, expert care, making them feel well-informed and comfortable asking questions.

He received his MD with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and his fellowships in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA. He is also a Member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
