Sheldon Markowitz, MD
Dr. Sheldon Markowitz is double board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine. His areas of focus include diabetes, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal, dyslipidemia and metabolic bone disorders. He is known for his compassion, empathy and person-centered care.
He received his MD, from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and his fellowship in Endocrinology at Northwell. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at SUNY Downstate School of Medicine.
