Advanced cancer and blood disorder treatments – including radiation therapy, medical oncology and surgical oncology– are now available on the Rockaway Peninsula at the Episcopal Health Services (EHS) Cancer Center. Housed in the new Walsh Ambulatory Pavilion, a five-floor, 50,000+ square-foot facility, the EHS Cancer Center brings together expert physicians, cutting-edge technology and comprehensive support services – all under one roof. Primary care and other specialty services are also located within the Pavilion, creating a truly integrated patient experience.
Led by Dr. Marc Warshawsky, Chief of Hematology/Oncology, Dr. Mark Ashamalla, Chief of Radiation Oncology and Dr. Sheldon Genack, Chair of the Department of Surgery, our multidisciplinary team provides preventative diagnostics and personalized, comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care. Our state-of-the-art technology includes TrueBeam™ Radiation Therapy, PET/CT imaging, minimally invasive biopsies and treatments, and Chemotherapy Infusion Suites, ensuring every patient receives precise and effective treatment.
