Labor and Delivery Suite
To ensure a comfortable and supportive environment during your labor, we have established guidelines regarding the number of support persons permitted in the Labor and Delivery Suite. This will provide a calm and focused atmosphere, ensuring your medical team can effectively provide care while still allowing you to have your chosen loved ones by your side.
Labor and Delivery Suite Triage
To ensure the privacy and comfort of all patients in our Triage area, we kindly request that only one support person accompany each patient. This policy helps us maintain a quiet and respectful environment, which is crucial for sensitive medical discussions and initial assessments.
Labor and Delivery
During your labor, you are welcome to have up to three support persons present in the Labor and Delivery Suite. For the safety and well-being of all patients and staff, all support persons must be over the age of 18. We kindly ask that you communicate your choice of support persons to your healthcare team upon admission or as your labor progresses.
Recovery Room
A quiet environment allows for your rest during your initial recovery phase. We kindly request only one support person be present during this important time. This will create a peaceful and healing experience for you.
Postpartum
During your postpartum stay, we warmly welcome sibling visitors to share in this special time. To ensure a comfortable and safe environment for everyone, sibling visitation hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. For the safety and well-being of all patients and visitors, all siblings must be accompanied by an adult supervisor at all times and in your room, while on the unit.
