St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Names Marie Flordeliza, RN, Chief Clinical Officer

Far Rockaway, NY - - - St. John’s Episcopal Hospital has named Marie Flordeliza, MHA, BSN, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC, to the position of Chief Clinical Officer.

Ms. Flordeliza will have oversight for nursing practice, clinical standards, and patient care delivery.

“Ms. Flordeliza is a very welcome addition to the Hospital and to our executive team,” said Nelson E. Toebbe, Chief Executive Officer, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. “She is an executive with a proven track record and has displayed resourcefulness and a talent for innovation in a wide range of areas over the course of a 23-year career,” he added.

Ms. Flordeliza has formerly served as Vice President at Beth Israel Medical Center in Brooklyn and as the Director for Cardiovascular Services at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. She has also held positions as Director of Critical Care, Emergency Department and Detoxification services at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn and as Nurse Manager at St. Francis Hospital, in Roslyn, NY.

Ms. Flordeliza received a master’s degree in health administration from Hofstra University. She is board certified in critical care nursing and as a nurse executive. She is a member of numerous professional associations including the American Association of Critical Care

Nurses, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and the New York Organization of Nurse Executives.
