St. John's Episcopal Hospital Offers Affordable Care Act Info Sessions

St. John's Episcopal Hospital Department of Social Work will hold two information sessions about the Affordable Care Act and the new online marketplace, the New York State of Health. These sessions will also provide opportunities to sign up for health insurance.
The first session will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:30 am at St. John's Boces Center, 510 Beach 20th Street, Far Rockaway, NY 11691. The second session will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 3 pm in St. John's Lobby, which is located at 327 Beach 19th Street, Far Rockaway, NY 11691.
The information sessions will allow you to explore your new affordable health insurance options through the NY State of Heath. You and your family may be eligible for: Medicaid; Child Health Plus; or Affordable qualified health plans.
How to prepare? To apply you will need to know:
Social Security numbers, if available;
Birth dates; Income;
Policy numbers for any current health insurance;
and information about any health insurance you or your family could get from your jobs.
