St. John’s Brings Dermatology to Belle Harbor

FAR ROCKAWAY, 2018—Monday, July 30th, St. John’s Medical Group celebrated the addition of
Dermatology services to the group’s Beach 129
th Street location with
a beach-themed open house on Saturday, July 28
th. This service adds
to the practice’s growing list of specialties, including OB-GYN, Vascular
Surgery, and Family Practice.
The open house allowed community
members to not only tour the practice’s office space, but also meet Dr. Louis
Siegel, who will be providing dermatology services at the office, and ask any
questions that they had for him. Dr. Siegel, completed his residency in
Dermatology at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and will begin seeing patients at
the practice on August 1
st, 2018. During his residency, Dr. Siegel
was trained to provide outpatient treatments for conditions such as acne,
bacterial skin infections, moles, dry skin, and cysts.
Dr. Siegel will offer a full range of comprehensive
medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to patients, in addition to
light-based therapies such as Photodynamic therapy for sun-damaged skin arrow
Band UVB and Excimer for the treatment of psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and
other conditions. Dr. Siegel will also be offering cosmetic treatments,
including Botox©, Dysport©, fillers, chemical peels, and PDL laser treatments.
