St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Begins Emergency Department Partnership with Alteon Health

FAR ROCKAWAY, 2019—Tuesday, March 12, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital is proud to announce a new partnership with Alteon Health, a leading provider of emergency medicine, hospitalist medicine, critical care, post-acute care, and virtual and home health services nationwide. Alteon Health is now providing professional management and staffing services within the hospital’s emergency medicine program.

The hospital’s Emergency Department will now be lead on-site by Medical Director Dr. Teddy Lee. Under Dr. Lee’s leadership, St. John’s and Alteon hope to provide the Emergency Department’s patients with an enhanced experience using open dialogue and teamwork. Alteon Health has been serving health systems throughout the country for almost 50 years, emphasizing the importance of patient-focused care, data-driven practices, and best-in-class healthcare partnerships. The physician-led group brings a wealth of experience and understanding of the communities that they serve across the United States. Alteon is committed to recruiting the highest-performing clinicians, focusing on customer satisfaction and bringing innovative solutions to the emergency room at St. John’s.
