EHS Appoints Edison Bond, Jr., MPH, MDiv, DMin, CPXP as their New Chief Patient Experience Officer

Far Rockaway, New York, June 15, 2023 — Episcopal Health Services (EHS) appoints Edison Bond, Jr., MPH, MDiv, DMin, CPXP, as their new Chief Patient Experience Officer. In this role, Dr. Bond will continue to build an environment and implement practices throughout the organization that allows patients and their families to have the best possible experience while at the hospital.

Dr. Bond comes to EHS with over 30 years of healthcare experience working in public and private academic medical centers and acute care hospitals. Prior to joining EHS, he held senior-level positions including Chief Patient Experience Officer at Arnot Health Systems in Elmira, NY; Senior Director, Office of Patient Experience at Metro Health System in Cleveland; and Director, Patient Relations at Baystate Health System in Springfield, MA.

Dr. Bond holds a Master of Public Health from Brooklyn College and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from New York Theological Seminary. He is also a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP), and has a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a member of the Patient Experience Institute, The Beryl Institute, American College of Healthcare Executives, and National Association of Health Services Executives. In addition, Dr. Bond is currently completing his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
