EHS Simulation Lab Earns Prestigious National Accreditation from Society for Simulation in Healthcare
Far Rockaway, New York, June 23, 2026 — Episcopal Health Services (EHS) is proud to announce that its Simulation Lab has been awarded Accreditation in teaching and education by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), a nationally recognized distinction that reflects excellence in healthcare simulation training and education. The EHS Simulation Lab, located at 19-09 Plainview Avenue, Far Rockaway, NY is currently the only SSH Accredited Simulation Lab in Queens, NY.
Following a comprehensive review process conducted by SSH’s Board of Review, the EHS Simulation Lab was granted accredited status in teaching and education with exemplars and staff education. The accreditation is effective from June 8, 2026, through December 31, 2031.
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare is the leading international organization dedicated to advancing the use of simulation in healthcare education, assessment, research, and patient safety. SSH accreditation is considered the gold standard for simulation programs.
