St. John’s ICARE Foundation Hosts M&T Bank

Far Rockaway, New York, August 15, 2024 — The St. John’s ICARE Foundation provided a comprehensive tour of Episcopal Health Services (EHS)’ Clinical Learning Center during a visit with M&T Bank Healthcare Commercial Banking representatives on July 25.

Nancy Leghart, Executive Director of St. John’s ICARE Foundation coordinated the tour, which included David Clarke, Senior Vice President from M&T Bank Healthcare Commercial Banking, and five of his colleagues. The group met with Eric Stern, EHS Director of Simulation, who guided them through the health system’s simulation labs and provided a hands-on demonstration of the VICTORIA S2200 labor and delivery patient simulator, a cutting-edge tool for education and training.

Following the tour, the M&T team helped distribute fresh produce and non-perishable items to the Rockaway community as part of the biweekly distribution organized by the EHS Population Health team in collaboration with The Campaign Against Hunger, held outside of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.
