Sheila Bawany, MD
Dr. Sheila Bawany is double board certified in emergency medicine and hospice & palliative medicine. Her areas of focus include chronic condition management and treatment; physical, mental and emotional support; and symptom management for those with serious illness (i.e. pain, nausea, fatigue, shortness of breath). She is a dedicated and compassionate physician that is committed to guiding patients and their families through complex medical decisions with clarity, empathy and evidence-based care.
She received her MD from University of South Florida College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at University of Central Florida College of Medicine and her fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center. She is also a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
