Shimshon Wiesel, DO
Dr. Shimshon Wiesel is quadruple board certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and sleep medicine. His areas of focus include asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), lung cancer screenings, sleep disorders, and sleep medicine. He is known for his thorough and knowledgeable approach to care, and for providing personalized, expert care to each patient, taking the time to explain all conditions and procedures.
He received his DO from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care at Northwell Health – Staten Island University Hospital. He also completed his fellowship in Sleep Medicine at NYU Langone – Long Island.
