Tessy Peter, MD, FCCP
Dr. Tessy Peter is triple board certified in critical care medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. She also serves as Associate Chief Medical Officer and Chairperson of the Department of Family Medicine at EHS. Her areas of focus include critical care medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. She is known for her unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care to every patient.
She received her MD from Calicut Medical College in Kerala, India She completed her residency in General Surgery at Lisie Hospital in Cochin, India and her residency in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She is also a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
