Why give?
The answer can be as personal as your experience during your residency years at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.
Perhaps as a resident, you:
- Grew in your medical knowledge
- Received invaluable support
- Developed strong relationships with patients and colleagues
Whatever the reason — you now have the chance to give back to help St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.
Why give to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital? Because YOU are the Power of ONE!
The power of giving at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital is in the heart and generosity of each medical student, alumnus, parent, faculty member and friend who gives a gift each year.
Each one of our residents has benefited from the generosity of the alumni who went before them. One gift — whether $5 or $25,000 — has a profound impact on the educational experience. Each annual fund gift is important and necessary every year.
One gift can help:
- Improve a lab
- Purchase equipment
- Update academic programs
- Support technological advances
Each person’s gift, given every year, is an essential part of the annual budget. Unrestricted gifts to the annual fund are current-use dollars that the hospital can apply flexibly to areas of greatest need. Restricted gifts — such as capital project or equipment support — allow donors to designate all, or a portion, of their gift to an area of personal interest.
ONE GIFT — each and every dollar — given to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital — each and every year — makes a difference.
Donations add up quickly. The average annual gift is $396, and gifts range from $5 to $25,000.
Donations can be made online or by check, payable to “St. John’s Episcopal Hospital” and mailed to:
