EHS designed our Behavioral Health Services to follow you and your family through every chapter, from early prevention, to everyday outpatient support, to more intensive care when it’s needed most. Programs are offered in multiple languages and tailored to the person in front of us, not a diagnosis on paper.
Early Support for Growing Families
Healthy Steps Program: For children ages 0 to 3 and their families. Delivered right in our pediatric primary care clinic, this program partners with families from the very beginning to nurture healthy development, learning, and growth. Everyday, Ongoing Care
Community Mental Health Center (CMHC)
For children, adolescents, and adults. Licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health, our clinicians and psychiatrists provide individual and group psychotherapy, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment: evidence-based care, delivered with warmth. Wellness and Recovery Center (WRC)
For adults 18 and older. Licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health, our interdisciplinary team of social workers and psychiatrists provides psychosocial and psychiatric assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, psychopharmacology, and medication-assisted treatment. For patients managing chronic behavioral health conditions, at risk of hospitalization, or navigating first-episode psychosis, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a more structured level of support. We also partner with the Office of Mental Hygiene Re-entry Program and Assisted Outpatient Treatment to support justice-involved individuals, and our telehealth certification allows us to assess and treat opioid use disorder remotely. Collaborative Care Services
For patients of all ages, through EHS Physician Partners Primary Care. Sometimes the easiest place to start is with the doctor you already trust. This service brings mental health screening and treatment directly into your primary care visits: every patient is screened yearly for depression and substance use, with therapy and medication management available on the spot when needed. Wraparound Support for Children & Families
Our team of trained family advocates and peer advocates deliver a comprehensive range of formal and informal support services for families of children and adolescents ages 0 to 21 who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
Family Peer Support Services
For families of children and adolescents ages 0 to 21. Our trained family and peer advocates walk alongside you, offering both formal and informal support for the emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges your family is facing, because you shouldn’t have to navigate this alone. Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Program
For children and adolescents ages 5 to 21. When things feel urgent, our team comes to you, offering crisis intervention, assessments, and family or individual therapy right in your home, with the goal of avoiding hospitalization whenever it’s safe to do so. Non-Medicaid Care Coordination Program

Inpatient Psychiatric Services
For adults. Across our two inpatient units (18 and 25 beds, semi-private and private rooms), our multidisciplinary team provides round-the-clock acute psychiatric care for serious and complex conditions, with a personalized treatment plan built for each patient.
