Message from the Chief Academic Officer
The Hospital's allopathic programs include Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Psychiatry. The Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residency programs are free-standing independent programs affiliated with the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn (SUNY). The programs in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine and GI fellowship are sponsored by SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn.
The Hospital's independent osteopathic programs are affiliated with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Residencies are offered in: Dermatology; Family Medicine; Obstetrics/Gynecology; Ophthalmology, Surgery and Traditional Rotating Internship.
St. John’s is a core campus for several allopathic and osteopathic schools. These students complete their entire 3rd year program on our campus. Electives and sub internship rotations are also offered for 4th year students.
St. John’s also operates a Podiatric Surgical residency and Wound Care Fellowship accredited by the CPME.
