Podiatric Medicine & Surgery (PM&S/RRA) Residency Program

Mission Statement

Our Mission at St. John’s Episcopal Podiatric Residency Program is to train well rounded podiatric physicians while serving the Rockaway Community with top quality and comprehensive care. We pride ourselves in implementing the latest techniques and research in podiatric care. With many doctors having grown up in the community and its surrounding areas, it is our utmost priority to ensure that patients are treated like fellow neighbors in a well-executed and culturally compassionate way. Our residents will finish training adept in the latest practices involving wound care, limb salvage, sports medicine, trauma, and elective surgeries. Weekly didactics which include journal club, board review, and cadaver labs are attended by faculty and residents alike. We encourage our residents to pursue post graduate fellowship training, with many furthering their education at our own distinguished wound care fellowship. With our diverse pathology and patient population, you will leave St. John’s with the ability to handle all podiatric cases. moving forward.
