Positon Overview
This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of biomedical engineering. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, applying your knowledge of engineering principles to the development of medical devices, diagnostic tools, and other technologies that have the potential to revolutionize healthcare.
Essential Functions
- Assist senior engineers with various tasks related to medical device design, development, and testing.
- Research and analyze biomedical engineering concepts and technologies.
- Conduct experiments and collect data to evaluate the performance of medical devices or prototypes.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to document findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in biomedical engineering through research and participation in relevant workshops or seminars (optional).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualification/Skills Required
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundation in engineering principles, including mechanics, materials science, and thermodynamics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bonus Points for
- Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
- A+ or other relevant IT certifications
