Food Service & Nutrition Department Internship

Status: Intern (unpaid)
Hours: 10-20 hours per week, M- F
Reports To: Director and others, as assigned.

Position Overview and Basic Function
The Volunteer will be responsible for providing support to the Food Services & Nutrition project team with activities related to the implementation of new system computer software. The volunteer should be able to work effectively with others and independently.


  • Assist with building product application
  • Enter data information in the system software
  • Work with team to develop and maintain scope of work documents for service
  • Assist with department intranet
  • Assist with coordination of projects and presentation
  • Other tasks and assignments


  • Valuable experience in healthcare setting
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with many opportunities to learn and grow
  • Letter of recommendation and potential eligibility for college credit upon completion per request

Other Requirements

  • Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google Drive
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional, consistent, reliable
