Positon Overview
We’re seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our Client Services team as a Desktop Support Intern. In this role, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience assisting users with everyday technical issues and troubleshooting common problems.
Essential Functions
- Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose basic software and hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist with software installation, configuration, and updates.
- Reset passwords, manage user accounts, and perform other basic IT tasks.
- Document technical issues and resolutions within a ticketing system.
- Learn and adhere to established IT policies and procedures.
- Participate in knowledge base development to share solutions with colleagues.
- Assist senior technicians with more complex tasks as you progress.

Qualification/Skills Required
- Currently enrolled in a computer science, IT, or related program (or recent graduate).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for technology and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using a computer and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Some travel to offsite locations may be required.
Bonus Points for
- Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
- A+ or other relevant IT certifications
