Telecom Support Intern

Positon Overview

This internship program provides an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of telecom support. You will work alongside our experienced team members, providing first-line support to our customers for a variety of telecom services.

Essential Functions

  • Troubleshoot basic customer issues related to installation, configuration, and operation of telecom services (phone, internet, etc.)
  • Provide clear and concise technical support via phone, email, and online chat
  • Research and identify solutions to customer problems using internal knowledge bases and resources
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately and efficiently
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians when necessary
  • Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures for customer service

Qualification/Skills Required

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (computer science, information technology, or related field preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Proficient in using computers and comfortable learning new software programs
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Some travel to offsite locations may be required
  • Bonus Points for
  • Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
  • A+ or other relevant IT certifications
