Office of Social Impact & Inclusion Intern Position

Status: Intern (unpaid)
Hours: TBD
Reports To: Chief Social Impact Officer (CSIO)

Position Overview and Basic Function
The Intern will provide support to the Office of Social Impact by collaborating with the CSIO to develop, shape and support institutional social impact through projects and initiatives, which include:

Responsibilities

  • The intern will work closely with the Chief Social Impact Officer on all aspects of the equity strategy—Talent, Training/Development, Culture and Brand
  • Research and  create informational folders for recognition and celebration months specific to Healthcare
  • Assist in developing presentations, and Social Impact I communications (e.g. Social Impact Newsletter)
  • Provide production support for events and programming
  • Assist in developing content for the EHS Social Impact Webpage
  • Support additional special projects on an Ad hoc basis

Required Skills

  • Able to speak, read and understand English
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
  • Prompt dependable, conscientious, and diligent in the performance of duties
  • Good organizational and filing ability
  • Have a basic knowledge of office etiquette, equipment and or willing to learn
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
